It’s finally here! Archeage patch 4.0 finally hit live so get out your storm coat and get ready to set sail to Bloodsalt Bay. Apart from new naval content game has overhauled lunagems and more!
Lunagem System
Patch 4.0 completely changed gemming allowing players to get a guaranteed gem socketing. Now, everyone will be finally able to fully gem themselves without the frustrating RNG involved.
First of all - what happens to the old gems? Guys at Trion provided us a with a helpful chart:
Even tho some old gems and Lunascales will no longer be craftable in 4.0 but they will remain socketable. 500 labor is required to socked a new gem. The difference is that old gems will still have a chance to fail and remove all your gems from the item (new gems included). So heads up - before you start experimenting with new gems burn through your stock of old ones first!
You can obtain first tier of new gems via the Honor Shop for 10,000 honor. To upgrade the gem to a higher tier visit your nearest Handicraft Bench, currently only T2 gems are available, T3 are planned in the future.
Upgrading gems still use Lunarite but patch 4.0 will only have two tiers of this material: Fine and Superior, all pre-Maelstrom lunarite will be converted following this chart:
Folio Facelift
Folio finally got a visual overhaul. New look has categories arranged in a intuitive and user friendly manner. This change will hopefully help new players to get into crafting.
Raid Recruitment Board
Don’t worry, this is not a World of Warcraft looking for raid. It’s simply a place where you can advertise for groups. If you want to form a group just post your ad here, select time of departure and what you’re going to do. Before anyone joins your group you can also review his stats and decline invitation.
